Published: 2013-11-14 at 13:10 Seventeenth International Conference on Electrical Drives and Power Electronics Research paper entitled „Estimation of the global solar irradiance on tilted surfaces“ was presented on the 17th International Conference on Electrical Drives and Power Electronics that took place on 2–4 October 2013 in Dubrovnik, Croatia. Paper deals with solar irradiance assessment on tilted surfaces based on known sun position on the sky dome (zenith and azimuth angles), as well as on solar irradiance components: direct (normal), diffuse (horizontal) and/or global (horizontal).
